107th annual meeting of “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Pathologie e.V.”
“Next Generation Pathology”
In view of the rapid developments in pathology and its revolutionary innovations for the analysis of cells and tissues, the 107th DGP Annual Meeting will take place in Munich from May 23 to 25, 2024 under the motto “Next Generation Pathology” with the following focal points:
- the interaction of clinics with researchers and individual interdisciplinary case discussions involving somatic molecular findings as a key area of development in today's medicine – particularly in oncology, but also beyond.
- the use of artificial intelligence in image analysis on histological sections as a further innovative development within pathology that will keep us busy in the coming years and give pathology a new face in the future.
- experimental and comparative pathology, which represents another major field of development in pathology, particularly including translational research approaches, the integration and comparison of the pathology of animal models and corresponding human pathology.
This year Fraunhofer MEVIS will be represented with the following contributions:
