ESMRMB 2026

The 42nd Annual Meeting of the European Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology (ESMRMB) will take place from September 30 to October 3, 2026, in Girona, Spain.
The meeting brings together European experts in magnetic resonance research across radiology, physics, engineering, radiography, biology, and related disciplines.
Under the theme “Shaping the Future,” this year’s congress explores how magnetic resonance is evolving through technological innovation, clinical practice, and societal change. The scientific programme focuses on three key areas: Future of MR Machines, Future of MR in Clinical Practice, and Future of MR in Society.
Two educational tracks—“Building Together” and “Broadening the Horizon”—provide additional perspectives for MR developers and clinical professionals. A dedicated pre-congress programme, organised by ESMRMB networks and working groups, further complements the main scientific programme.
