"Image Man" showcases interactively the capabilities of modern medical imaging methods.

In the context of this year's Girls' Day Fraunhofer MEVIS invites all interested parents to the Parents' Evening.

 

Digital Medicine and STEM

What is meant by Digital Medicine and how is it connected to the so called STEM disciplines?

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. These disciplines belong to the most innovative economic areas and accordingly STEM graduates are in great demand. What are the professional career possibilities with STEM studies? And how does the daily work of a STEM scientist look like at the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Medicine MEVIS?

We will give you answers to these questions on April 22, 2021 at 19:00 with an insight in the representation and processing of medical image data. You can explore and work with the image data and ask the experts questions on computer support in medicine, technical possibilities and limitations, and the Fraunhofer community.

The event will take place online on April 22, 2021 from 19:00 to 21:00.

The event will be performed online. Accordingly you will need a web-connected device, optimally a PC or laptop with mouse to participate. Tablet or smartphone will enable only limited activities during the event.
