Fraunhofer MEVIS presents its latest developments in AI-related software solutions for image and data-supported early detection, diagnosis, and therapy at the Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) taking place at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL from November 27th to December 1st.

Have a look at our novel Direct Volume Rendering solution AVIS (Adaptive Volumetric Illumination Sampling). It approximates realistic lighting for volumetric data (e.g., CT data) in real-time. However, unlike other approaches, AVIS does not introduce additional noise and allows for unrestricted interaction with the camera, clipping planes, and the transfer function. Experience real-time volume rendering with advanced illumination—ideal for but not limited to intraoperative visualization using Augmented Reality or medical training & education with Virtual Reality.

The RSNA is an international society of radiologists, medical physicists, and other medical professionals. The annual RSNA meeting with approximately 50,000 attendees in Chicago is a place for scientific exchange and clinical training.
