A draft project to develop an educational app about breast imaging in collaboration with Fraunhofer MEVIS was recently rewarded with the Barbers Bursary Award.
The draft is by Susanne Diekmann, MD, a medical expert at Fraunhofer MEVIS since 2013 and a medical art student at the Medical Artists' Education Trust (MAET) in London since 2019. As a project partner at Fraunhofer MEVIS, Alexander Köhn will accompany the work over the next few months.
The Barbers Bursary Award is given annually to selected students at MAET and serves to deepen medical art skills through related projects.
