Professor Matthias Günther from the Department of Physics / Electrical Engineering at the University of Bremen and as well head of MR Imaging at Fraunhofer MEVIS receives € 100,000 within the funding initiative Experiment! by the VolkswagenStiftung for a period of three years.

The funded research project "Direct Magnetic Resonance Imaging Using a Magneto-Inductive Lens and Microcoils" aims to provide a high-resolution image of the body tissue to be examined in a few milliseconds instead of seconds, and thus revolutionize magnetic resonance imaging.
