Serious diseases such as cancer cannot be diagnosed and treated without reliable histological findings. Unfortunately, the validity of histological observations is often limited because only tiny fractions of tissue specimen can be assessed in a reasonable amount of time.
Technology
Novel technology developed by Fraunhofer MEVIS enables comprehensive analysis of entire tissue sections and, thereby, enhances the quality of pathological diagnoses with minimal user effort.
