This years BVM Workshop is an event of the ReMIC lab (Regensburg Medical Image Computing) of OTH Regensburg. The aim of the workshop is to present current research results and to deepen the discussions between medical as well as technical scientists, industry and users.

From October 22 to 25 the FingerKIt Consortium will be showcasing our innovative work at the DKOU, the German Congress of Orthopaedics and Traumatology in Berlin. In collaboration with our partners Fraunhofer IAPT, Fraunhofer ITEM, Fraunhofer IWM, and Fraunhofer IKTS we have developed an automated process chain for the production of patient-specific finger implants, from the creation of 3D shape models for defect reconstruction to biological testing and preparation for certification.

The 40th ESMRMB annual meeting will be held in Barcelona, October 2–5.
