Fraunhofer MEVIS is well represented at the 23^rd International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI) held from October 4 to 8, 2020.

MEVIS scientists are actively involved in the organization and with contributions to the workshops:

• Thoracic Image Analysis Thoracic Image Analysis
• Statistical Atlases and Computational Models of the Heart

as well as to the grand challenges on:

• Image Registration
• Cerebral Aneurysm Detection and Analysis

The meeting, originally planned to take place in Lima/Peru, has been converted into a virtual conference. The annual MICCAI conference attracts world leading biomedical scientists, engineers, and clinicians from a wide range of disciplines associated with medical imaging and computer assisted intervention.
