Fraunhofer MEVIS is well represented at the Annual Meeting & Exhibition of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) virtually held from May 15 to 20, 2021.

Am Donnerstag, dem 6. Mai 2021 fand das virtuelle Kick-Off Meeting zum Projekt BMDeep statt, das vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) im Rahmen der Initiative Computational Life Sciences für drei Jahre gefördert wird.

Der Hauptsitz von Fraunhofer MEVIS ist in sein neues Institutsgebäude auf dem Campus der Universität Bremen umgezogen.

Im Ringen mit dem Virus wäre viel gewonnen, wenn die Daten, die die Wissenschaft nutzt und erstellt, leichter auffindbar, standardisiert und verknüpfbar wären.

In einem von der Universitätsmedizin Essen angeführten Konsortium erarbeitet ein Team aus Wissenschaftlern der Fraunhofer-Institute für Intelligente Analyse- und Informationssysteme IAIS und für Digitale Medizin MEVIS, der RWTH Aachen und der TU Dortmund zusammen mit Experten der m.Doc GmbH und der GSG Consulting GmbH Konzepte und Lösungen, wie Krankenhäuser aus NRW in sogenannte »Smart Hospitals« transformiert werden können.
